We have been looking at what we are thankful for and exploring days celebrated in the countries our children come from. We are Thankful to have such amazing children.
The children loved finding lots of creative ways to make firework pictures. They made candles as we learnt about the festival of Diwali. We used coloured cloths and pompoms with music to pretend to be fireworks.
We had a great Halloween and our local friendly Fireman came to talk to use about staying safe on Bonfire night. We also got to climb ladders and dress up.

Carol came to see us in line with our theme. She spoke to us about all the different weather she has to work in. We even got to try some uniform on.
PCSO Emma came to see us and show us her amazing car. We are learning about keeping safe on the road and to wear reflective clothes when it is dark in the winter.
At the sand pit the children had the opportunity to construct dams and channel the water into rivers and lakes as well as observing the flow.
